Private alpha · GOBBLverse roadmap
Learn a trade, bring strange things home, shape land that becomes unmistakably yours, and join other players when a road, workshop, or story is worth opening together.
Private alpha · Invite only
The shared world is currently open only to accounts approved by the GOBBL team.
Where we landed
The first House is only the beginning. Your own story has to matter before the map grows larger, so personal effort lasts and community effort leaves visible marks.
Permanent
Land, crafting spaces, collections, upgrades, and visits belong to your long-term player story.
The first House
The Commons and its finite public projects give players useful reasons to build together.
The larger world
Roads connect Houses, districts, stories, the community, and the Feral Arcade under one identity.
Your first trail through the fog
The opening journey is becoming a compact promise: meet someone memorable, learn useful work, make something permanent, and earn a reason to imagine your own front gate.
01
Choose the first trade you want to learn.
02
Fish, forage, or mine with the proper tool.
03
Turn gathered materials into a real crafted object.
04
Keep the result, receipt, and Patchwork progress.
05
Begin the road toward land and a home of your own.
The road ahead
Now
Private-alpha testers are meeting Tink, learning a first trade, gathering in the Commons, crafting a permanent Signal Frame, and helping us harden movement, recovery, and ten-player rooms.
Next
The Patchwork Workshop bridges gathering into crafting. That first personal proof begins the path to permanent land, saved placement, useful upgrades, and visits from friends.
After that
Gardens, storage, shops, Pack upgrades, buddies, professions, collections, festivals, and social activities expand only after their first complete version proves fun.
Long term
Finite public projects can open new districts, stories, and authored Houses. A character who truly earns a following may one day anchor a separately approved launch inside this living world—not a disposable new game.
A personal anchor in a shared world
Earn a distinct in-game land plot, build a home, add useful workspaces, and shape it into a place that reflects how you play. That plot is your home base—not a replacement for the shared world beyond its gate.
Your layout, upgrades, placed furnishings, collections, and future buddy spaces stay with your player record. Friends can visit and tour what you made. Chapters can add possibilities without bulldozing your work or asking you to rebuild it every season.
Residency comes through the opening work and crafting journey—not a token purchase or signup giveaway.
Grow from a starter home into workshops, storage, gardens, and other authored improvements.
Arrange furnishings, display collections and receipts, and preserve the choices that tell your story.
Choose when friends can visit, tour the land, and spend time in the place you created.
Beyond your gate
The Commons, House halls, public workshops, markets, gathering grounds, festivals, projects, roads, and future districts remain shared multiplayer places. Meet people, work together, explore, or simply hang out—then bring the stories and things you earn back to the home you are building.
How players grow
Progress follows what you actually do. Skills, equipment, homebuilding, relationships, an earned world economy, and shared projects support one another without collapsing into a single level that pretends to measure everything. Ordinary money will support routine goods and services; House Marks remain cosmetic, and GOBBL never buys power.
Fishing, foraging, mining, and patchwork grow independently. New disciplines appear only when their playable activity is ready.
Rods, axes, picks, and workbenches follow their own material upgrades. Higher-grade resources ask for both the matching skill and the right tool tier.
Characters and buddies remember their own bonds with you. Friendship is not another disguise for an XP bar.
Finite public projects open roads, facilities, and stories while leaving your personal progress untouched.
What stays true
Chapters may bring new weather, stories, requests, and public projects. They do not delete your home or force everyone back through the same opening grind.
GOBBL is the only coin in the world today. A future character House or coin would need to earn its place through story, community, product fit, and separate public approval. This roadmap is a direction—not a launch promise or financial promise.
